Greetings from Shanghai! I’m Shine, and I’m a professional English - Chinese translator based in Shanghai, China. I have a degree in business English and more than 10 years experience translating business, scientific and industrial documents.

I have also served as a Chinese interpreter for business negotiations, trade fairs, interviews, and international delegations. My customers range from transnational companies seeking to establish branch offices in Shanghai to small businessmen and individuals needing to have their business contracts and personal affairs interpreted.

Third, I have served for many years as an English-speaking Chinese tour guide for groups or individuals visiting Shanghai. I can also arrange tours of Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nantong and other exciting areas around Shanghai, too. Moreover, I can formulate an itinerary and serve as your—or your group’s—tour guide if you wish to travel to Beijing, Xian, Sichuan, Yunnan or other cities and areas of interest.

Fees for my services in Chinese currency RMB are 500 per day for language interpretation, 200 per 1,000 words for document translation, but feel free to email or call me if you'd like to discuss them based on your particular needs and circumstances. Within the FAQ page I've included a sample contract for services rendered, and my bank account info if you prefer to wire a payment instead.
